Welcome to our gallery, we are The Depot! We opened our storefront in Depot Town, Ypsilanti, Michigan in February 2021. We look to spread our love and joy for art through our shop. We display a range of art pieces including wall art, stained glass, sculptural pieces, clothing, and our passion lies in functional glass.

The functional glass art community has grown exponentially in the last 20 years, and even faster in the last five - the art we display is an accumulation of that history, skill, and knowledge. We have a ceramic smoking pipe on display from 1978, two years before the breakthrough of using boroscilicate glass took storm in the pipe-making industry. Another artist we have on display, Quave, is responsible for multiple groundbreaking designs that revolutionized the way we smoke out of these pieces today.

We strive to educate the world about how intricate and beautiful functional glass art has become. We want our shop to have a welcoming atmosphere where anybody can come admire what we have on display.
